Welcome kindergarten Families 2024-25
We welcome all Easthampton kindergarteners and their families to the district! We are thrilled to welcome you to our brand new building, Mountain View School, in the fall. Students will enjoy large, state-of-the-art classrooms, beautiful outdoor learning spaces, and spacious cafeteria and gymatorium areas. Our incredible teaching staff looks forward to meeting families and students as they transition to school!
Upcoming Kindergarten Events:
Kindergarten Registration, March 21. Join Easthampton Public School staff on Thursday, March 21st Drop-in any time between 3:30 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. @ Mountain View School—Elementary Entrance. Bring all registration documents, staff will be available to answer questions and take copies of registration documents. Incoming families with students who will be turning 5 by August 31, 2024 are encouraged to register at this time.
Kindergarten Screening, May 2 & 3rd, by appointment. Families will sign up for a screening appointment during the registration process.
Kindergarten registration packets were mailed to Easthampton families in mid-February 2024. Additional packets can be requested at the school department during business hours. Packets can also be downloaded and printed using the links below. All registration documents can be submitted to 50 Payson Ave, 2nd floor, Attn: Ivelisse Lozada.

Kindergarten screenings will happen in late spring and early fall. All kindergarten families will be invited to attend meet and greet playdates with their future classmates throughout the summer 2024.
Welcome New & Returning Families
Easthampton families with students in grades 1-12 who are returning after a time away, we welcome you back! Families who are new to Easthampton or enrolling students for the first time, we are excited to have you!
Easthampton families coming back to the district, or enrolling in public school for the first time are invited to submit their registration packets at their earliest convenience. Easthampton residents who currently homeschool, or attend other area schools, and are interesed in learning more about Mountain View School (Grades K-8) or Easthampton High School can contact Jean Libby, Family Engagement Coordinator with any questions.
Beginning Fall 2022, all PK-8th grade students in Easthampton now attend the brand new Mountain View School, located at 200 Park St, on the site of the former White Brook Middle School. Our 9-12 graders attend Easthampton High School, located at 70 Williston Ave.
We invite new and returning families in grades 1-5 to complete their registration packets as soon as possible. Enrollment packets can be downloaded and printed using the links below. Enrollment packets can also be requested in person at 50 Payson Ave, 2nd floor.

School of Choice Families
The School Choice Program which Easthampton Public Schools (EPS) participates in allows parents the opportunity to have their children attend our schools while residing in a surrounding town. School of Choice applications for the 2024-25 academic year are now available.
The number of School Choice seats per grade will be determined by the administration by May 1, 2024. The selection of non-resident students for admission will be in the form of a random drawing when the number of requests exceeds the number of available spaces. There will be two drawings for this purpose. The first will take place during the last week of the current school year but no later than July 1st. The second will be conducted during the week immediately preceding the opening of the next school year and will be based on the possibility of unexpected additional openings.
Applications received after the lottery will be accepted on a space-available basis.
Interested families can submit an Application for Admission to Easthampton Public Schools for 2024-25 by submitting the form below. Please complete and return the forms to Ivelisse Lozada at 50 Payson Ave, 2nd Floor. If selected to enroll, families will need to complete the registration packet.
